Approximately 30,000 film frames are combined into a single composite image tracking Marilyn Monroe’s beauty spot across the full duration of a film. Each print of the series corresponds to a single movie, starring Monroe. A self-built program automatically locates and extracts the mark in each frame, mapping its position over time. The final work retains the original film aspect ratio, with each spot printed relative to its on-screen location.
